Our Mission and VisionThe LEYTE HERPETOLOGICAL SOCIETY is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing information to the general public and the organization's members regarding the ecological role, conservation, legal and safety issues pertaining to reptiles & amphibians; to provide an open forum for the exchange of resources, information and ideas concerning herpetology; and to adopt guidelines for the proper care and breeding of reptiles and amphibians. Society ProfileFounded on October 18, 2002 by 19yr. old HARVEY CAIDIC and co-founder MARK R. GIMENEZ, this organization has lived up to it's goals. Starting as a small club with only 2 reptiles and 2 members, we now have more than 7 types of healthy reptiles and amphibians in captivity and the number of members have never stopped growing.
