Description At first sight, this species resembles Iguana iguana as it is similar in shape, though much smaller.
Distribution South-east Asia, Philippines
Habitat and Habits Like the green iguana and the water dragon, this diurnal species lives in thickly wooded areas close to water, where it quickly takes refuge if danger approaches. It is an excellent swimmer.
Housing A large aqua-terrarium with land and water areas roughly the same size.
Feeding Soft fruits and some leafy vegetables.
